 Day 1 - USA
Your journey begins as you board an international flight bound for Hong
Kong.
Day 2 - Hong Kong
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you will
meet your local representative and escorted to the designated shuttle bus to
take you to your hotel.
Day 3 -
Hong Kong (B)
The morning tour starts with a drive to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of Hong Kong
Island and its harbor, followed by a trip to the floating city of Aberdeen. Next, the
breathtaking views over sandy beaches of Repulse Bay. The tour ends with a visit to the
bustling Stanley market, where you can shop and bargain with
vendors.
Day 4-
Kong Kong/Kunming (B)
Relax during a short flight to city of Kunming, where you are greeted by your English
speaking tour guide at airport and escorted to your hotel. You are free to enjoy the rest
of your day.
Day 5 -
Kunming (B/L)
After breakfast, you will take the new express way to the ancient Stone Forest. Known
since the Ming Dynasty as the First Wonder of the World, the Stone Forest covers an area
of 400 square km (96,000 acres). On the way back to Kunming, visit a village en route
and the Old Town Quarter and the Flower & Bird Market.
 Day 6 -
Kunming/Dali (B/L)
A short morning flight takes you to Dali. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the Bai village,
Xizhou & Zhoucheng, and the Three Pagodas, each giving you a taste of the tribal
cultures that inhabit inland Asia. You are free to spend the rest of the day exploring the
province of Dali.
Day 7 -
Dali/Lijiang (B/L)
Today’s tour begins with an 3 hour drive from Dali to Lijiang. A UNESCO World
Heritage site, today the city is known primarily as a scenic garden spot with lush green
valleys surrounded by snow-covered peaks. You are free to explore the city's Old Town, for
the rest of the day.
Day 8 -
Lijiang (B/L)
Today you will drive out to the scenic Jade Dragon Snow Mountains. Next you will visit the
local village of Yuhu, home to the Naxi minority and the former residence of Dr. Joseph
Rock. Lastly, you will visit Baisha village, with its frescos dating back to Ming and Qing
Dynasties.
Day 9 -
Lijiang/Zhongdian (B/L)
Your adventure begins at the breath-taking Black Dragon Pond. Next you will enjoy a
relaxing day-trip to Zhongdian, also known as Shangri-La. Stops along this drive include
the First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Upon arrival in
Zhongdian, you will check into your hotel, and relax for the rest of the evening.
Day 10 -
Zhongdian (B/L)
Today you will visit Garden Songzanlin Monastery, the biggest monastery in Zhongdian.
Next, you will see the Shudu Lake and the Ringa Monastery. End the tour with a visit at
the home of a Tibetan family, and taste the local Tibetan cuisine. Enjoy the rest of the
day at your leisure.
Day 11-
Zhongdian/Kunming (B/L)
This morning you will board a plane back to Kunming. Spend your last day there
sightseeing: the Western Hill, and a bird’s-eye view of the Lake Dianchi.
Day 12 -
Kunming/Hong Kong (B)
Today you will head back to Hong Kong, where an English-speaking tour guide will escort
you to the shuttle bus which will take you to your hotel. You are free to spend the rest
of the day at leisure.
Day 13 -
Hong Kong/USA (B)
Bid farewell to Hong Kong, as you board your international flight back to the States.
