Board your international flight and bound for the capitol of Vietnam
Day 2 En-route
Day 3 Hanoi/Halong
Arrive in Hanoi and transferred by vehicle to Halong Bay along Highway 5 across Hai Hung
Province and around Halong Bay.
Day 4 Halong/Hanoi (B)
Cruise the Halong Bay (4 hours) on a traditional wooden boat with stops at different
islands to explore some of the many caves in this area. Sail past floating villages,
fishermen casting their nets and pearl fisheries and observe the rhythms of daily life on
the bay.
Day 5 Hanoi (B)
Full-day sightseeing in Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public
parks, the capital of Vietnam. You will visit One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature,
Hoan Kiem Lake, right in the heart of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Opera House, St.
Joseph Cathedral and Bao Tang Lich,
Day 6 Hanoi/Hue (B)
A short flight to Hue followed by the sightseeing including Old Imperial City,
Ngo Mon Gate,
Thai Hoa Palace, Halls Of The Mandarins, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City,
Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and Dong Ba Market
Day 7 Hue/Danang (B)
Excursion by boat on Huong Giang River to the Thien Mu Pagoda and the Austin
motorcar which transported the monk Thich Quang Duc to the site of his 1963
self-immolation behind the main sanctuary of the pagoda. Transfer to Danang along Highway
1, passing the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. You will visit Cham Museum, China Beach, made
famous in the American TV series of the same name and Marble Mountains
Day 8 Danang/Saigon (B)
Excursion to Hoi An, a picturesque riverside town south of Danang. Sightseeing by walking
or by cyclo including Quan Cong Temple, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Japanese Covered Bridge,Tran
Family Chapel. Then transfer to the airport for a flight to Saigon.
Day 9 Saigon (B)
A full-day sightseeing in Saigon and Cholon (Chinatown) You will visit Notre Dame
Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall, Opera House, Jade Emperor Pagoda, Reunification
Palace,
War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market, Giac Lam Pagoda, BinhTay Market and Thien Hau
Pagoda.
Day 10 Saigon/ Phnom Penh (B)
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Phnom Penh, Cambodias capital sits at the
confluence of the Mekong, Bassac and Tonle Sap rivers. You will visit Wat Phnom, Wat
Ounalom, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Tuol Sleng Museum and Central
Market.
Day 11 Phnom Penh/Siem Reap (B)
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Angkor Wat, the UNESCO declared the
whole city as a World Heritage Site. You will visit Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon,
Phimeanakas, the Celestial Palace, Former Royal Palace, Terrace of Elephants
and Terrace of The Leper King.
Day 12 Siem Reap (B)
Continue your sightseeing of Angkor including Banteay Srei Temple, Banteay Samre,
Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanon temple and Chau Say Tevoda
Day 13 Siem Reap/Bangkok/USA (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Bangkok to connect Cathay Pacific Airways
flight back to U.S.
